Milgard Ultra Series windows and doors make it easy to offer the level of energy efficiency your project requires. With Milgard's 3D® and 3D MAX® energy packages, your windows are custom built to achieve higher energy standards. Our windows can even exceed the new more stringent ENERGY STAR® criteria.   

The project team selected the ULTRA™ Series fiberglass windows and patio doors with triple glazing. By substituting the original glass with the Milgard ULTRA™ units, the U-value of the windows improves from 1.11 to 0.22, and the solar-heat-gain-coefficient (SHGC) improves from 0.86 to 0.19. This amounts to a 500% improvement in the glasses’ ability to block solar gain, and conductive heat loss.

Replacing the existing obsolete windows with high performing Milgard ULTRA™ triple glazed units was a critical ingredient in approaching a net-zero whole house performance for ReVISION Vegas, and on its own contributed up to 20% of the overall energy savings.
