Boise Cascade Shows Us Why Less is More

Boise Cascade’s Conditioned Airspace HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Framing System is made from an Engineered Wood Product (EWP). When installed, it uses about 50% less wood fiber than ordinary lumber. This means fewer trees are harvested in the process and less waste is created at your jobsite!

Boise Cascade’s EWP line is available FSC® Chain-of-Custody certified or SFI® Chain-of-Custody or Fiber-Sourcing certified so homebuilders can earn sustainable credits under LEED® or National Green Building Standard™ programs.

For more information on Boise you can visit their website at www.bc.com or you can read more about them in our October issue of Green Builder magazine.
