Green Builder College partners with SIPA to offer online learning.

Green Builder College has teamed up with the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) to offer a comprehensive training curriculum with everything you need to know about one of the fastest growing building systems in green construction. Building with SIPs has been proven to boost energy efficiency, reduce labor costs and improve profitability.

The curriculum consists of ten video sessions designed for building professionals. From designing and estimating SIP projects to installation and finishing techniques, the ten one-hour sessions will give a complete overview of the SIP construction process. The sessions will be available on-demand to watch on individual’s schedule, session testing will then produce a trained SIP builder.

“Green Builder College is proud to have the privilege of offering this new education curriculum. Developed by the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA), this curriculum provides builders, architects, and building designers comprehensive training about designing and building with SIP’s,” says Butch Gaudette, Dean, Green Builder College.

“More and more builders are looking to structural insulated panels to improve home energy efficiency and reduce construction costs,” said Bill Wachtler, SIPA’s executive director. “This comprehensive curriculum gives experienced builders the knowledge they need to start building SIP homes.”

This partnership would not have been possible without the generous sponsorship support from BASF - The Chemical Company. Visit  Green Builder College for more information.
