McDonald’s joins the restaurateurs adding sustainability to the menu.


"Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun." That old Big Mac refrain may soon be two all-sustainable beef patties by 2016 according to an article posted on Yahoo

On January 14, McDonald’s pledged to start purchasing sustainable beef by 2016. Beef, McDonald’s says, is its largest annual raw material purchase and a top priority. Environmental sustainability has become a top trend in what Yahoo calls the “culinary landscape.”
