Thane Maynard knows conservation. He has spent his career focusing on biological diversity, natural history, and wildlife protection and has authored thirteen books on wildlife (his latest work, Hope For Animals & Their World, was co-authored with Jane Goodall.) Currently Director of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Thane is best known as writer and host of numerous wildlife programs, including the daily public radio series The 90-Second Naturalist, which airs on stations across North America. He has also been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS This Morning, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
