Designed and built in Japan, this vertical axis three-blade wind turbine starts spinning in winds under 3 mph, and begins to produce electricity at 3.6 mph.

The installation calls for a single hollow core tower height of just 17 ft., with generator capable of producing up to 1,000 watts of power. The turbine has a built-in automatic braking system to withstand winds up to 134 mph.
