In the latest version 2.2 LEED Survey, Dal-Tile’s ceramic tiles fall into the materials and resources and indoor environmental quality categories. More specifically, there are potentially anywhere from one to six points available based on the volume of recycled material content, and the proximity of their manufacture to the construction site. Dal-Tile has modified its operations and processes in order to recover and recycle waste water, waste glazes, and some unfired scrap materials.
