We include it here as evidence that a pellet-powered home sized CHP does exist, despite the lack of one on the U.S. market.
The unit’s 1-cylinder Stirling produces about 3 kW of electricity and 10.5 kW of thermal output, with an efficiency of 90 percent. The pellets can be supplied through an automatic silo feeder or added by hand.
