The VISION House Orlando ’11 is a new home that Green Builder Media has constructed with partners Southern Traditions Development, ed binkley design, and Designs by Pat Gaylor in the charming neighborhood of College Park in Orlando, FL. The home has been designed to respect traditional central Florida architecture and reflect the unique character of its traditional neighborhood. The VISION House Orlando ’11 incorporates the essentials of sustainable design and construction, including a strong focus on energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environment quality, efficient systems, sustainable materials, and disaster resistance. The project incorporates education and training for building professionals and consumers about green building products and techniques, as well as broader aspects of sustainable living.
