They have extensive knowledge of green building programs used in WA including LEED for Homes, Built Green and Passive House, as well as training in Healthy Homes, Lead-Safe renovations, and community development.
Targeting eco-conscious buyers who value environmental conservation Millennials to Eco-Boomers Infiniti RED buyers appreciate advanced technologies (techies) and/or clean modern design (modernists). While many families are attracted to the zHome their ultimate target market fits more into the lifestyle of singles, first-time homebuyers or active couples (without kids or who have grown children), who value spending time outside of the home and participating in recreational activities. They do not spend large amounts of time and resources on fixing or maintaining a home.
Current Project
The zHome, located in Issaquah, WA is a revolutionary, 10-unit townhome development that uses smart design and cutting edge technologies to radically reduce its environmental impacts. zHome aims to prove that homes that use zero net energy and 60% less water, emit net zero carbon emissions, have clean indoor air and use only low-toxicity materials are possible and scalable to mainstream home production. zHome scored the highest-ever amount of points for the Built-Green program in the State of Washington. www.zhome.org
Targeting Millennials
Eva Otta, Owner of Infiniti RED, says they focus on social media, online advertising and online optimization. They thrown parties, plan educational events and in some cases target young professionals in their workplaces or in green building classes at college campuses. She believes the Zhome resonates with Millennials because of the pressing concerns they have had to face growing up with the imminent threat of global warming and therefore it easily makes sense to their future lifestyle.

The Market in 2012
“Predicting the market is like fortune telling,” says Eva Otto, owner of iRED. “There are indications that we are still in a diminishing market, but with the low-interest rates we have seen a pick-up in activity in the 4th quarter of 2011 signaling a recovery. The Case-Shiller index reports that Seattle was down approximately 6% in 2011, and down 30% from the peak. That information, however, does not include the strong sales in the 4th quarter (Oct 2010-Oct 2011). With spring approaching it is likely [that] in 2012 the year-to-year decline in real estate values will be less than 6% and we may even see a neutral or positive trend in buying and selling due to low interest rates. As far as fortune telling, since it is the year of the dragon (which is traditionally thought of to be lucky year because the dragon brings wealth and prosperity) I would say that 2012 shows positive signs of being a good year in real estate market.”
