Cooper Lighting's Halo LED Downlight is the first to earn an ENERGY STAR listing

 
For use in new construction or existing applications, the new Halo LED Recessed Lighting features a Halo LED module (ML706830) that installs into a dedicated new construction housing (H750ICAT) or into existing Halo, All-Pro or 6” housings by others (that a qualified electrician must verify fit and compatibility to meet all electrical and building codes).

Consuming less than 14 watts, the HALO dimmable LED module provides excellent color quality (80CRI), a warm white color temperature (3000K nominal), and light output of over 650 lumens (comparable to a 65 watt BR30 incandescent lamp). The recessed fixture provides energy savings in excess of 75% when compared with a 65 watt incandescent lamp. The optical design provides superior cutoff (50 degree), low glare and the LED module has a projected LED life of 50,000 hours (20 years when used 6 hours a day). This is the first LED downlight to meet stringent ENERGY STAR requirements and earn an ENERGY STAR listing.
